We are currently partnering with Boys & Girls Club and local Parks & Rec to raise money For Sports For Life scholarship funds that will provide money for sports fees, shoes, and equipment for their neediest families. We have also partnered with Douglas County Community Foundation by staring an investment fund that allows donors to give through their existing investment funds. We are continuing to seek corporate, community organization and individual partners to assist the Landen Lucas Foundation – Sports For Life organization in helping as many young people as possible to expand their social and academic experiences by learning teamwork and leadership skills for success in academics and in life. Donations and frequent fundraising events constitute the bulk of the incoming cash used to provide organizational support, and to provide Sports For Life Scholarships to youth who can’t afford sports fees, equipment, or shoes. We don’t want any young person to miss out on the physical, social, and academic benefits of playing sports!
